The Koolhome Freezer designed and developed by Koolboks Ltd provides a reliable and alternative long-term storage technique due to the insulation and ice thermal storage technology employed in the design. The freezer can function as a refrigerator or as a freezer depending on the preference of the user. The temperature range of the freezer can be adjusted according to the storage requirement of the user or the product.
The versatile design of the Koolhome Freezer makes it suitable to be used to store various types of foods according to the approved temperature for storage of that class of food. The Koolhome freezers can be used in offices, homes, restaurants, and commercial purposes. Koolhome Freezers use environmentally friendly refrigerants (R600a).

There are 2 categories of Koolhome freezers:
Full Options: This freezer comes with a power foot integrated with lithium cells. The Full Option freezer is a 24V system that requires a minimum of 1 x 350W panel and a maximum of 4 solar panels (connected in parallel) depending on the size of the freezer. This category also comes with AC/DC lithium chargers to charge the battery during the days of autonomy.
Classic: This freezer has no in-built lithium battery The Classic Freezer is either a 12V or 24V system which requires a minimum of 2 x 180W panel and a maximum of 8 x 180w solar panel (connected in either parallel or series) depending on the size of the battery. This category also comes with AC/DC converter to power the freezer during the days of autonomy.
